The Vivo X200 series launched in China last week. The new flagship lineup features three phones — Vivo X200, Vivo X200 Pro, and X200 Pro Mini. Vivo has yet to announce the global launch for the X200 series but it’s expected to take place soon as 91mobiles has spotted the X200 Pro on NCC. The Vivo X200 has also appeared on the SIRIM certification site.
Vivo X200 series global launch nears
- 91mobiles has spotted the Vivo X200 Pro on the Taiwanese certification site NCC with the model number V2413.
- The NCC listing includes images of the phone along with its accessories. The Vivo X200 Pro is already official so we know all about its design.
- The Vivo X200 Pro was spotted on Malaysia’s SIRIM certification site recently and now the vanilla X200 has also appeared on the database.
- This suggests that Vivo is planning to launch the X200 series in global markets. Although the brand has yet to make any official announcement.
We recently received exclusive information on the Vivo X200 series India launch timeline. Vivo is expected to launch the X200 series in India by November end or the first week of December, according to industry sources. The Vivo X200 Pro Mini is a new addition to the series and a compact model but there’s no information yet on whether the phone will launch globally or not.
Vivo X200 series
The Vivo X200 series is the brand’s latest flagship lineup. All three phones are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset. Like the previous models, the Vivo X200 series also stands out for the cameras, which are more improved now and are co-engineered by Zeiss.
In China, the Vivo X200 series has a starting price of CNY 4,299 (approx Rs 50,800). The Vivo X200 Pro Mini has a slightly higher price of CNY 4,699 (approx Rs 55,600) for the base model. The Vivo X200 Pro, which is the most expensive model in the series starts at CNY 5,299 (around Rs 62,600).
